Student Body Officer

Congratulations to Brock who made Student Body Officer at Tooele Junior High. Please note: (He won the election before nerd day. . ) ha, ha. . . He was also awarded the Student Of the Month award in September. Go, Brocky, Go!!

NERD Day

Whachu laughin at?

I know. . .pi equals the square root of the exponent divided by the . . (you get the idea)

So, it was "Spirit Week" at the school, and each day the kids got to dress up in some fun way. When Friday came around, and Brock had the opportunity to Nerd it up--he went full board. He kept us laughing all day. We had to laugh when he told us that the glasses REALLY DID help him see better. Maybe he should keep them. . . .

Pumpkin Walk

Last Friday, just the two younger kids and me were at home while the boys were camping (in the snow, no less). We decided to take a trip to the local pumpkin patch. Kenzie and Braydon were proud of their picks.

Tyler in All State Choir

Those 'gang signs' represent crescendo and decrescendo. .

TOO COOL for words. . .

Tyler and Stephanie, hydrating their vocal chords after a good workout.

Tyler had the awesome experience of participating in All-State Choir this year. They put on an amazing show, and Tyler learned a lot and had a ton of fun with his teacher and friends that participated.

First Day of School!

McKenzie is in Mrs. Baran's Fifth Grade Class. She loves that she gets to earn class 'money' for a job well done.

Braydon really loves his teacher, Mrs. Thomas. She is fun and patient with his wiggles. :)

It's hard to believe we only have 2 left in elementary school, but I was so glad they still thought it was 'cool' for Mom to walk them to school. After the big drop-off a lot of the local mom's went and celebrated our new-found freedom by going to breakfast at Jim's.

Colton's Birthday

The girls thought it would be really funny to give Colton a Barbie. He took the teasing pretty well, but before the night was over the boys let the dog rip poor Barbie apart.

Great group of friends!

August 18th marked the day that Colton officially became a teenager. We had a big friend party for him and then a family party. Colton's b-day wish was a rip-stick, and despite fears of him breaking his neck, he got one. We kept him guessing though by having him open his smaller gifts first...acting like that was 'it'.. before leading him on a treasure hunt for the grand finale.

Heather's Birthday

Braydon got all tangled up in the human rubber band we brought. He needed a little help getting untangled...but made us laugh as we watched him try.
Girls just wanna have fun . . .
One of Heather's best and longest running friends..
Boys, boys, boys~

Ok. . so it's catchup blog time for me again. Lots has happened since my last blogging session, but here are a few highlights. Heather had her 15th b-day on July 29th. She has been loving high school and playing volleyball and loves to spend time with her friends. She had a big party with a bunch of her friends. . we reserved the pavillion at a nearby church and had food and games. Here are some of the best pictures...
