Good Things Utah!

This morning the YW took a trek to SLC to visit the local TV set of Good Things Utah. What a fun time. Highlights were seeing piano great Kurt Bestor, seeing all the behind the scene happenings, laughing and clapping and cheering 'til our hands hurt and taking pictures with 'the girls'. Mike McKay thought our Hadli Sorenson looked just like Miley Cyrus--so we had to get a pix of them together.

Scout Camp

Unfortunately, we missed Brock and Colton at the family reunion this year because they were off having their fun at Scout Camp. We are proud of their accomplishments. They both earned 6 complete merit badges. Brock was especially proud of the rifle shooting. . he said when he started he couldn't even hit the target paper, but after a few hours practice and learning to use the scope, he hit the target 5 times within a quarter-size range. Way to go, boys!

Schwendiman Reunion

One of my favorite things about summer is the chance we have to renew our relationships with extended family with our family reunion. This year my mom's side had a fabulous time at Squirrel Creek Ranch, near Ashton Idaho. Of course, the company was great, but the food, scenery, and activities were awesome, too. It was such a hot spot that I think every mosquito in the state showed up for the visit. We all have polka dot bites to show for it, but it was worth every itch! :) Thanks for a great time, family--here are some of our favorite photos.Dad and Grandpa were both gifted a new head of hair!
